The Call for Presentations is now open for IALD Enlighten Europe in Copenhagen, 17 - 18 June, 2027. Enlighten conferences are boutique educational and networking events created exclusively by and for lighting design professionals — capped under 500 attendees for close connections and thought-provoking discussion.
We seek energetic, engaging speakers to lead impactful learning experiences built around creativity, commerciality, and collaboration. If you have a story to share, we want to hear it.
Agenda & topicsEnlighten conferences cover multiple topics of community interest, with courses built around creativity, commerciality, and collaboration. We're looking for sessions of varying lengths — including hands-on workshops.
Based on feedback from recent conference attendees, areas of particular interest include (but are not limited to):
Speakers may not promote a single product or line, or demonstrate equipment exclusively from one manufacturer.
Speaker honorarium & benefits- One multi-day IALD Enlighten Europe registration, valued at 7130 DKK.
- Single Speaker - 6000 DKK; Multiple Speakers - 3000 DKK (per speaker).
- Speakers will only receive one honorarium regardless of the number of presentations during the conference.
Honoraria will be paid in the local currency of the host country. Any fees charged by the recipient's bank or intermediary financial institutions, including currency conversion fees, are the responsibility of the speaker.
The currency exchange rate – if applicable – will be that of the recipients bank on the date of the transaction.
Lighting designers learn best from each other — that's the tenet Enlighten conferences are built on. Whether your story fits a 20-minute talk or a full hands-on workshop, we want to hear it.
